Stacey-Ann Douglas brings over two decades of experience as a Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, and Sleep Shaping Consultant. Her journey into birth and postpartum work began with a natural calling to nurture families, which has grown into a professional practice deeply rooted in trust, compassion, and consistency. Families often describe her as both grounding and encouraging, offering steady guidance that allows parents to feel secure and empowered in their new roles. Her approach is centered on meeting families exactly where they are, honoring each parent’s instincts while introducing tools and techniques that ease the transition into life with a newborn. With a gentle sleep-shaping philosophy, Stacey-Ann helps parents establish healthy rhythms that support both baby’s development and the family’s overall well-being. She sees postpartum care as not only about tending to the newborn, but also about holding space for the emotional and physical recovery of parents as they adjust to a new chapter. Stacey-Ann has supported a wide range of families, from first-time parents to those welcoming siblings, as well as those navigating unique postpartum journeys. Her work is guided by the belief that every family deserves care that is both personalized and deeply respectful, and she is dedicated to providing the kind of consistent, hands-on support that allows families to thrive with confidence. When she’s not supporting families professionally, she’s usually writing, traveling, and spending time with her own family. She’s a lifelong learner and creative at heart, and she also volunteers with organizations that support parents and families who may not otherwise have access to doula care. These experiences ground her work and deeply inform the care she provides.

What families are saying

Stacey Douglas who helped me and Horace during our postpartum journey acclimating to newborn life. Stacey is immensely empathetic, nurturing, and truly was a pillar for us during a time when we were frankly, a bit overwhelmed! Syeeda & Horace Briddell
Stacey was our amazing postpartum doula, and we highly recommend her. With us, Stacey was skilled and professional in supporting our family through the early weeks with our first child, teaching our baby how to sleep through the night, and building our confidence and technique with all topics baby-related. And yes, to reiterate: Stacey’s “sleep shaping” approach resulted in our daughter sleeping around 10 hours per night non-stop from around 4 weeks of age. We’re thrilled! Stacey’s support goes beyond caring for the baby, and extends to regularly checking in with both parents on how they’re adjusting to parenthood, and especially’s the mother’s recovery. Stacey was flexible and embracing of our preferences across all dimensions. In all, Stacey was warm, kind, punctual, and empathetic. Any family would be lucky to have her support during the essential newborn period. Sebastian & Giattri Hullum Clark
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
