Birth and Postpartum Doula
Sherraine is a Brooklyn-born doula and social worker dedicated to helping families feel confident, supported, and cared-for from pregnancy through postpartum. With a masters in social work and years of specialized doula training, she combines deep knowledge with a calm, empowering presence. Her style is relaxed warm guidance and a little coach-like if needed. Her goal is to prepare clients to meet the unknowns of birth with knowledge and flexibility, and ensure that the postpartum experience is nurturing and restorative.
Her own journey as a parent revealed how much of the postpartum period remains a mystery, and how powerful support can be in ensuring it’s not only survivable but joyful. She loves witnessing parents grow into their roles with confidence and families find moments of delight together.
Beyond individual client care, Sherraine is committed to equity and access. She believes everyone deserves doula support and offers sliding scale services when possible to expand access to care for families who might otherwise be excluded. For her, doula care is not just luxury, it is community restored, a cashmere-soft hug during one of life’s most profound transitions.
