What families are saying

Marion Vitus Ronelle is amazing: She had us feeling comfortable immediately with her calm, patient, yet enthusiastic demeanor. She listens carefully, and for our prenatal meeting she taught me so much--developing a mindset, laboring positions based on what might possibly take place during my induction, an overview of what was happening in my body during the birthing process, and more. She brought new things to my attention, and I've given birth after a 6-week birthing class with my first child! Ronelle went above and beyond with us as I then, about 40 minutes after she left my apartment, spontaneously went into labor. She supported me, alone in my apartment, via speaker phone and guided my through my (lightning fast--10 minutes!) birth process, and then as I sat there dumbfounded she jumped into action: calling 911, checking in on me to make sure I was not in distress, guiding dispatch to coordinate firemen and EMTs to my address, and even telling them which way to turn in the lobby to most efficiently make it to my door. She then called my husband, who was en route, and congratulated him. She remained on the phone with me the whole time, giving the EMT's the exact time of birth and didn't get off the phone with me until we were safely in EMTs hands and ready to go to the hospital. And then two weeks later, she gave us the most complete and helpful postpartum appointment I have ever had. Nothing escapes her notice and she's quick to offer support and encouragement in a variety of ways, from direct to indirect depending on what she's observed her client needs. We cannot love on Ronelle enough!
Lieh V Ronelle was a vital and incredible part of my birthing experience! From our initial conversation and through the entire pre and post-partum experience, she made me feel seen and heard without any judgement. As we devised my birthing plan together, she helped educate me on all of my options and what to expect. During labor, she was an amazing presence, helping me understand what was happening at every step, and providing comfort measures, such as putting me in different positions to help move things along. Her breastfeeding knowledge was also so useful, as she helped me with the first latch and feeding right after the baby was born. Our post-partum consultation with Ronelle was also so helpful -- we covered so many topics, such as breastfeeding, setting up stations around the house, general newborn care, and checking in our my husband and I emotionally. She observed a full feeding and provided gentle recommendations and adjustments. I felt so cared for and much more equipped to care for our baby after her visit. Ronelle was an instrumental part of my birthing experience and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking expertise and support! Thank you, Ronelle!
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
