What families are saying

Meredith was an amazing source of support during my birth. Since I had a very uneventful pregnancy, I wasn’t sure if I would really benefit from having a birth doula, but it turned out to be the best decision. I initially was laboring at home for a couple days and Meredith was there by phone and text to talk me through it the whole time. She arrived at the hospital shortly after I did and helped me with the next part of labor - changing my positions and helping me understand what was going on with the medical interventions. Near the end of the birth, several complications came up. Meredith was so invaluable at this time - she helped me stay calm about these unexpected events, she told me how to push and cheered me on, she helped me through the pain and nausea in the aftermath. Even the OB resident at my birth said, “I want you to be my birth doula!” Afterwards I was a bit emotionally shaken up by the experience and she showed up to hug me and help me find more support. If I give birth again I will definitely want Meredith to be my doula again! -Shishi
Meredith was incredible leading up to and during my birth. I felt extremely prepared for my unmedicated birth and had multiple coping strategies. When it became difficult during the beginning of the pushing stage, Meredith got me through so I was able to deliver a healthy baby girl. -Baxter
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
