Maggie draws on a variety of inclusive care-taking experiences over the last 15 years to understand and connect with her clients. She completed her birth doula training with Carriage House Birth. Maggie knows the perinatal space brings identity shifts and evolving relationship dynamics, which can be both joyful and challenging to navigate. These changes often require flexibility and forethought—two things that may not come easily in a sleep-deprived state. Maggie works to soften these transitions alongside her clients in authentic ways through strong communication. Maggie’s goal is to help her clients make educated and informed decisions during a time of great transition. She takes a practical, hands-on approach to ease and calm any fears and anxieties her clients may have as they embark on their new paths. Maggie would be honored to join you on your journey. When Maggie isn’t supporting families as a doula, you can find her riding her bike in Prospect Park, cross-stitching, running to the beach, or trying a new ice cream flavor at her local shop.

What families are saying

Maggie was such an incredible support system from pregnancy, to birth, to postpartum. Maggie has a warm spirit with a natural ability to keep positive. Once the big day came, she showed up immediately and jumped in with a calming reassurance. Maggie was able to anticipate my needs, continuously and constantly uplifting both mine and my husband’s spirits. I would highly recommend Maggie for any stage of your new life. Your mind and body will truly be thankful! -Jasmine
Maggie worked for us as a postpartum doula for six weeks that turned into months when we realized we couldn't bear to give her up. We were recent ex-pats in New York without any family around to help after the birth of our second child, so Maggie very much took on that role for us. She helped look after the new baby and his older sister, provided general care to both parents, helped look after some light housework and cooked delicious soup and snacks. Maggie is an extremely warm and nurturing presence, and practices nonjudgmental and empathic care with everyone she meets. -Rebecca
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
