Lee Ann is a full spectrum doula based in Brooklyn. She provides evidence-based and trauma-informed support during the entire experience of pregnancy and beyond. She became a doula after a decade-long career in the childcare industry- she noticed a consistent lack of care for new families and knew that birth work was the way to bridge this gap. Lee Ann is LGBTQ+ and is available for overnights. She's experienced with sibling care.

Lee Ann Carr is a Postpartum Doula based in Brooklyn, NY. Caregiving, active listening, and providing support come authentically and innately to Lee Ann. She was led to formal doula work after her 10 year career in childcare; she saw a consistent lack of care for newly postpartum parents, and sought to bridge the gap between care for children and care for families as a whole. She has worked as a doula for over a year and has supported over a dozen families with gratitude and dignity. Whether it’s newborn care, lending a kind ear, family nourishment, or providing new parents with a much needed night of sleep, Lee Ann is passionate about all things postpartum.
When Lee Ann isn’t cuddling adorable babies, you can find her sipping coffee, digging into her art supplies, or grounding herself in beautiful Prospect Park.
