Kelsey Seaman

Kelsey believes in the magic and science of affirmation and empowerment. Her calling is to hold space and listen to people’s stories in the hopes of helping them reveal more of their authentic selves. Kelsey's superpower is "mothering the mother" and she focuses on new parents receiving the time and care they need to be their best selves so they can walk into the chapter of parenthood balanced and calm. She is the woman you want in your corner during this exciting and vulnerable transition.

With a BFA in Musical Theater from Ithaca College, Kelsey's acting training was more like “human training” and she is a more emotionally-mature, intuitive person because of it. She is a huge proponent of talk therapy and mental health care and is amazed at the effect our thoughts have on us. She is no stranger to the deeply rooted beliefs that may be holding us back and considers herself a gifted space-holder for clients to feel their way through the messy and imperfect. When not on stage or holding babies, Kelsey is walking around Brooklyn with her girlfriend, reading queer literature, and cooking cozy meals at home with their two cats. She is constantly expanding her creative expression, whether that be creating and performing in cabarets, painting on her roof, or expanding her knowledge on tarot and the moon. Small talk is fine and dandy but she’ll go deep with you any day of the week. Reach out & see if you’re a good fit!

What families are saying

Having Kelsey… felt like a ray of sunshine during a really dark time in our lives. I had a traumatic, nearly fatal, complication after having my baby. Kelsey would put me in a better mood all day and the nights she'd be there were such a relief. I always felt safe and confident that my baby was being loved and cared for. Kelsey is just such a doll. She let me vent about what I'd been through and made me feel heard. She was there to care for me just as much as my baby. We are truly grateful for Kelsey and any family will be lucky to have her in their lives. -Lucy
Kelsey saved us during those fragile and special postpartum months, and I don’t know what we would have done without her. She was warm, proactive, and incredibly helpful with caring for the baby, doing work around the house, preparing food, and more. We trusted her immediately and our sensitive baby did too. Kelsey walked in and quickly felt like that member of the family who always knows what to say to be supportive, what to do to help, and when to give you your own space and time. She is also just a lovely and positive force to be around. We’d hire her again in a heartbeat and any family would be lucky to have her support. -Danya
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
