What families are saying

I hired Jos as my birth doula, and I don’t exaggerate when I say that her companionship, guidance, and support during the last weeks of my pregnancy were vital to my transition into motherhood. From our very first call, she listened generously and respectfully to our fears and concerns, helping us make informed decisions about the birth plan. She created space for my partner to participate fully in the process and shared valuable resources and information that empowered me to speak with my doctors about my preferences. She was always available through WhatsApp to ease our anxieties as my due date approached. When my contractions began, Jos guided me in managing labor at home and helped us determine the right time to go to the hospital. She met us there a couple of hours later and stayed by my side the entire time, offering affirmations and practical advice on managing labor pain. She also stepped in when needed to remind my birth team of my birth plan and to ask for clarification whenever medical interventions were suggested. The fact that she speaks Spanish was an additional gift, as it allowed her to connect with and support Spanish-speaking family members on my birth team. All in all, Jos made my birth a truly joyful and special experience. I recommend her wholeheartedly. - Leonor Lamas
I had an amazing experience having Jocelyn as my birth and postpartum doula. She was not only thorough and patient when it came to explaining my options for a birth plan but also provided great resources for my partner and I to learn and be prepared for any situation that may happen. I felt comfortable and open with her and knew we were in great hands. After my daughter was born, she made sure I had everything I needed to have a successful postpartum journey. I recommended her to many of my soon to be mommas and will continue to do so. Her knowledge, experience and caring touch came through for us and we’ll always be grateful. - Giselle Polanco
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
