What families are saying

Jenn is truly a master of her craft and we are so grateful for her. She’s incredibly hands-on, knows exactly what to do in the moment, and even knows how to advocate with hospital staff when things get intense. With my first birth, she quite literally saved me from a c-section, and with my second, she helped everything flow so smoothly it almost felt…easy (well, as easy as birth can be!). She had me doing exercises beforehand, kept me comfortable during labor, and made sure my husband and I felt supported the whole way through. What I love most about Jenn is that her care didn’t stop after the baby was born. She came by to check on me, offered advice and tips that actually helped my body heal faster, and was there to support me as I juggled a newborn and a toddler. Having someone who genuinely cares and knows her stuff makes all the difference and honestly, I don’t know how people do this without her. Ayana Rivera-Grguric
From the start, Jen made sure I, as the husband, was informed, engaged, and fully supported. I wasn’t just along for the ride—I felt like an empowered part of the birth team thanks to her guidance. Jennifer Michel-Wilson of La Bella Doula was a critical part of our journey. She brought empathy, humor, and steady confidence that helped turn a potentially overwhelming experience into something we are truly grateful for. From the first focus sessions to postpartum support, Jen helped us trust the process, trust ourselves, and stay grounded. Her preparation was incredibly practical: she taught us early labor movements, pain management techniques, how to set the right environment (massage, music, calm), and coached us on how to respond respectfully to hospital pressures without losing our voice. Thanks to Jen’s guidance, when doctors pushed to speed up the process, we stayed confident, aligned with my wife’s body, and advocated for what felt right. When labor intensified, Jen was there—offering massage, guiding positioning, coaching breathing, and helping my wife find strength through every push. She was a steady, calming presence who made both of us feel protected and empowered. Her postpartum visit was equally valuable, helping us process the experience, settle into parenthood, and feel supported even after birth. If you’re looking for a doula who leads with love, deep knowledge, humility, and full support for both the birthing person and their partner, Jen is the one. She helped us stay connected to each other and to the experience in a way we’ll always be thankful for. Brendan Reeves
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
