Isadora Stone

Isadora attended her first birth 7 years ago and has continued to support birthing people in a variety of settings across New York ever since. She originally trained as a birth doula at Carriage House Birth but has continued to pursue educational opportunities in Newborn care, Nutrition, Babywearing, Lactation support, Reproductive Herbal support and beyond. She believes that every person deserves holistic reproductive care and the opportunity to make informed choices about their bodies and babies. She also believes that comprehensive childbirth education is a necessary foundation for informed decision making and is passionate about sharing that with her clients. Isadora supports the families she works with through navigating pregnancy, childbirth education, considering provider and location choice, labor support, birth processing, postpartum nutrition and so much more. She takes time to help her clients plan for their first few weeks after birth and works to help them tap into their intuition and smoothing the transition into parenthood. Most importantly she loves helping families expand and watching her clients as they become parents. When she’s not attending births Isadora can be found relaxing in the park with her husband and son, cooking for her family and friends, and studying for nursing school exams.
