Birth Doula, Yoga and Meditation Instructor, Thai Yoga Practitioner
Originally from Bloomington, Indiana, Holly studied literature and dance at Oberlin College. She's been performing and choreographing since graduation, most recently with her own company, Muliebris Dance Theatre. In 2016 she studied Thai Yoga with Al Turner II at Two Souls Massage and the following year got her yoga certification through Kula Yoga Project. Since 2017 she's been teaching yoga and doing Thai yoga full time.
After being at the birth of her sister's first child, Holly's interest in becoming a birth doula grew. In the spring of 2022, she did her training through DONA with Bruchy Mayer and a 6-month doula mentorship with Anna Cheechov. Holly incorporates her vinyasa and Thai yoga knowledge, love of imagination and literature, and study of meditation and the mind in her doula work to help parents move through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum in a grounded, flexible, and creative way.
Now after the birth of her son, Harry, and her own postpartum journey, Holly focuses on supporting parents postpartum. She offers practical support, healing touch and movement, and mindfulness practices to help you survive and savor this transition.
