Californian. Middle child. Product of organic family farmers. Mover by nature. Traveler. Community seeker. Cat mom. Sock collector. Tea drinker. Life celebrator. Thru-hiker. ‘5 second rule’ dropped it on the floor eater. Hannah completed her birth doula certification through BEST Doula, and went on to study ‘Embodied Birth: Queer and Trans Birthing Course,’ by Ash Dasuqi, and finished an internship with NYC Birth Village, Christine Gibson and Lou Reade. She is now certified as a Full Spectrum Doula through BADT. Working as a doula is a constant education, stepping out of every birth and postpartum visit Hannah feels the importance of this work and the rightness of this path. Hannah believes wider change can be created by empowering and supporting families during labor, birth and postpartum. Hannah has always been fascinated by the capabilities of the body, nervous system and mind, this curiosity took her to study circus in Australia and England. After completing a BA in Circus Arts she pursued her career as an aerialist. Now she uses this passion within birthwork as a Body Ready Method Pro, using movement and positioning she helps optimize your pregnant body and babies positioning within it for the smoothest birth possible.

What families are saying

"Hannah has an intuitive sense of what is helpful and is oh-so willing to share knowledge. She is warm, gentle, considerate and an absolute pleasure to have along one of the most intense transitions life has to offer. Highly recommend hiring Hannah as your Doula." -Alexia
“It's such a big, beautiful, overwhelming, and vulnerable time those first few weeks home from the hospital, especially as first-time parents. There are only a few very specific people & energies that we would have wanted in our home at that time—that would make everything feel better and easier—and you brought forward exactly that: postpartum expertise, positivity, openness, warmth, and great listening. It felt like you understood us & our personalities and approach, and built from that foundation. Baby loved spending time with you & the care you provided her was all very smooth, but the most appreciated part was just feeling supported during our start-of-night conversations and in the touchpoints throughout the night. When Dad had to leave town 3.5 weeks in, I felt totally at ease knowing you would be there, which says a lot! I could have never have done that otherwise.” - Nov. '25 Family
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
