Emilia's journey into caregiving began early—Emilia has been caring for babies since she was a young girl. She always dreamed of becoming a teacher or a baby nurse, drawn to the natural connection she felt when supporting little ones and their families. That passion led her to spend over 15 years working as a nanny, playing an essential role in helping families raise their children with love and confidence and she holds a Master’s degree in Education and continued education clases in Early Childhood Education. As a doula, Emilia received her training through the highly respected Manhattan Birth organization. She continues to grow in her practice through their ongoing mentorship program, where she stays current with evidence-based practices and receives support from a vibrant community of fellow birth professionals. Emilia offers personalized emotional, physical, and educational support during birth and the early postpartum period, always tailoring her approach to meet each client where they are. She takes time to understand each family’s unique needs and preferences, and provides care that is as individual as the people she serves. From labor and delivery to breastfeeding guidance and newborn care, Emilia brings calm energy, a grounding presence, and a comforting touch that help families feel safe, seen, and supported. Her approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep love for this work. Emilia leads with heart, creating nurturing, empowering experiences for every family she serves. She is passionate about holding space for the transformative journey of parenthood—and honored to be invited into those sacred moments of birth and beyond.

What families are saying

Emilia was incredibly attentive and responsive and thoughtful at all times while in our home. She helped us with everything from tending to all of my daughter’s needs, teaching us how to do the same and helping us with anything that we needed for ourselves ranging from preparing food, hand expressing my colostrum, and figuring out how to work my breast pump. She communicated exceptionally well at all times both before during and after our engagement with her. While Emilia has many strengths, I’d say that her top ones are her level of diligence, compassion, and commitment to providing the highest quality support to both babies and their parents. I cannot identify any weaknesses because she is truly fabulous. I would absolutely work with Emilia again in the future, and I have already recommended her to friends. Any family would be lucky to work with her! -Jordana
Emilia was my birth doula for my secomd baby, she brought such a calm presence to the hospital room which was realy great and helped us settle into the labor. She gave me back masages, hip compressions and helped me go through contractions. Emilia has attended to my needs even before I would asked for anything, she made sure I was hytrated and helped me with resting positions when I needed that. She eplained the whole process, she could read the monitors and it was great to have her in a room as an additional support for me and my husband. Thank you for waht you do, Emilia. -Sarah
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
