Birth Doula
Cheye Bollmann is a birth doula, creative and pilates instructor with a background in Psychology (B.S.) and Cultural Anthropology (M.A.). Originally from Arizona, she was raised German-American and often visited family in Europe. She discovered her passion for childbirth and supporting women in labor through a medical internship in a hospital in the Black Forrest in Germany. Five years later, she chose to study spirituality and home birthing in Sedona during her M.A. and became a hands-on midwife’s assistant and certified birth doula in the process. Having served in private homes, birth centers, midwife practices and hospitals (US and Germany), she is comfortable and experienced working in a variety of settings with many different kinds of people. Her approach is intuitive, hands-on, holistic and grounded in what matters most to her clients. She enjoys the process of getting to know every family, building trust and tailoring her approach to fit individual needs!

What families are saying

Cheye has a wealth of knowledge surrounding birth and postpartum care, and also has specialized knowledge of psychology and body therapeutics. At every birth we’ve attended together, I have witnessed her offering loving touch and compassionate listening. Cheye is present, dependable, and a grounded presence. Anyone would be lucky to have her at their birth! - Isadora
Cheye was such a calming and positive presence throughout my birth experience. It wouldn’t have been the same without her. If I had to do the whole process over again, I wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you Cheye. - Elina
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
