Birth Doula & Childbirth Educator, ILFS
Birth Doula
After a cancer diagnosis at 19 & years of treatments & surgeries that followed, I've spent more than half my life in the role of "patient". Because of this, I deeply understand the importance of compassion & consent in care, the power of a strong support system & the need for bodily autonomy. I hold firm in the belief that we are the experts in ourselves. I am a queer, pro-choice, certified Cornerstone Doula, trained in trauma informed care with an emphasis on anti-racism, birth justice & harm reduction. I am also a certified Rights Informed Birth Advocate with Birth Monopoly, a Level Two certified Reiki Practitioner with Minka Brooklyn, & am trained in Childbirth Education with Birthing Advocacy. It would be my honor to support you in this incredible transition. Everyone deserves non-judgmental support & the evidence-informed knowledge to make their own choices on their road to parenthood. There are so many ways to become a parent, give birth, feed your baby or feel & all of them are valid & deserve to be respected.

What families are saying

In 2020 I had a traumatic birth experience that left me disappointed and fearful. So when I became pregnant the 2nd time around, I knew I wanted to reclaim my birth story. Celina helped me do that and much more! From our first zoom meeting, I felt a connection - Celina was so easy to talk to, and she was an amazing listener. I never felt rushed through any of our meetings and she was always available, checking in, and answering all of my questions. She made sure to get me thinking about EVERYTHING - birth plan, partner support, postpartum…and she was so thorough that for the first time, I actually felt mentally prepared for birth, and was looking forward to it!! Along the way she managed to also help me improve communication with my husband, to also feel like I had his full support as well, something I felt was missing the first time around. Most importantly, having Celina there during labor meant I was able to actually give birth in the delivery room and not on the triage floor. The hospital was so busy, and I felt abandoned by the nurses and midwife on call, but once Celina got there and noticed how far along I was, she got things moving and everyone sprang into action. Without Celina, I am sure I would not have been able to reflect positively on the whole experience. She was absolutely instrumental in helping me achieve the empowering birth experience that I wanted and also to approach postpartum with a positive outlook. I am so glad I met Celina, and she will always be a part of this amazing chapter in our lives! W.L. Brooklyn NY
If you're looking for a doula who truly listens to your needs, provides thoughtful support, and makes you feel like a complete badass throughout your birthing journey, I highly recommend Celina. From the moment you meet Celina, you'll immediately feel at ease with her warm and welcoming demeanor. Even after our first conversation over FaceTime, I felt an immediate connection. Celina takes the time to really get to know you and your birth preferences, and actively listens to your concerns and fears. Her non-judgmental and supportive approach makes you feel empowered and confident in your choices throughout the entire birthing process. What really sets Celina apart is her ability to make you feel like a total badass. Whether you're in the throes of labor or just need a little extra encouragement, Celina will be there to cheer you on and remind you of your strength and capabilities. With her support, you will feel more confident, capable, and in control, no matter what twists and turns your birthing experience may take. Overall, I cannot recommend Celina enough. Her thoughtful, supportive, and empowering approach to birth is truly one-of-a-kind, and I know that she will be an incredible asset to anyone looking for a doula. J.W. Brooklyn, NY
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
