Full Spectrum Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor
Cait’s initiation into this work began after an eye opening, difficult birth and postpartum experience with her daughter in February 2020. She spent the following year attempting to heal by absorbing everything and anything she could find related to birth, postpartum, and reproductive justice. She completed full spectrum doula training (Ancient Song, BK) and Certified Lactation Counselor training (ALPP) in 2021, starting on a lifelong journey and commitment to providing dignified care to all birthing people. To Cait, support means that no matter what your goals are for birth, you deserve to have a care team that fully supports you and encourages you to trust your body and its incredible capabilities!
In the past few years she has had the joyful privilege of supporting so many wonderful families as they move through pregnancy to parenthood. She has breathed with them in labor, cried with them as they pulled their brand new babies up to their chests, rubbed and held their postpartum bodies, and rocked their newborns to sleep. Each of these experiences has taught Cait that there is no one way to parent, birth, heal or grow your family. Her mission is to provide care that fully builds on this idea.
