Breanna believes that each step along her path in life has led her to becoming a postpartum and overnight doula. After many years in education and years as a former nanny, she wanted more autonomy in her pursuit of providing intimate and personalized service to a larger community. Her approach to doula work is centered around hearing the needs of the mother/birthing person so that she may show up best for baby. Breanna completed her training through Ancient Song, which she selected due to their community justice framework. She is currently studying to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to continue her work in closing the gaps in maternal health outcomes. Breanna revels in the small, tender moments of support, and has found that her work can at times feel like an afternoon spent lending an ear to a dear friend. When not running around doing doula work, she is up high wrapped in silks as an aerialist, volunteering at a community farm, embroidering in bed, or finding the perfect recipe for a citrusy dessert.

What families are saying

Breanna is an incredible postpartum and overnight doula- courteous, confident, and always ready to jump in when needed. From the very beginning she made me feel seen, supported and at ease. She made me feel like I had a friend to guide me throught the chaos. I loved the boundaries workshop that we did before baby came. She really helped to create a warm, safe environment throughout the whole service. She has a strong expertise in postpartum care and her support allowed us to ground and focus on the moment. I am so grateful to have had her by my side! - Madelyn H.
“We absolutely loved working with our postpartum doula, Breanna. As new parents, we were overwhelmed by all the “firsts,” and Breanna guided us through each one with so much care, patience, and expertise. She helped us learn paced bottle feeding, supported my breastfeeding journey (drawing on her extensive knowledge as she trains to become an IBCLC), and even walked us through our daughter’s very first bath. Breanna was also incredibly thoughtful about protecting our sleep. She helped us understand realistic newborn rhythms, talked us through strategies to maximize rest, and made sure my husband and I built routines that felt sustainable rather than stressful. She took time to check in about my well-being too, consistently prioritizing my recovery after a challenging delivery and helping me recognize what my body needed during those early weeks. One of the biggest gifts Breanna gave us was confidence. She gently coached us through leaving the house for the first time—both with the baby and for our first date night out without her. She also spent time talking with us about our labor and delivery experience, helping us process everything in such a validating, comforting way. We are so grateful for Breanna’s warm presence, her incredible depth of knowledge, and her steady, reassuring guidance. Having her by our side has made these early weeks with our daughter so much more joyful and manageable. We cannot recommend her enough.“ - Alice S.
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
