Birth Doula
Daytime Postpartum
Birth is contextual, natural, and is a different experience for every body. However, within all of these inherent differences, we share the same hopes, dreams, and fears surrounding it: we all want to have a happy and healthy birth (and a happy and healthy baby!) As a doula and yoga teacher, Abigail provides physical, emotional, and informational support for expectant parents and their families before, during, and after labor. Her goal is to be a contact and conduit throughout the experience of pregnancy and birth, providing safety and a certain freedom in confinement. She supports all birth choices and seeks to empower families to have the best birth and postpartum experience they can. Because each family’s needs vary, services and fees vary. She believes that every family should have access to a doula, therefore, offers sliding scale community support.

What families are saying

Abby was a true partner to us throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She has a gift for making people feel safe and seen, she is incredibly wise, deeply knowledgable, hilarious, and meets you where you are. It’s evident that this work is Abby’s passion and what she is meant to do in this world. -Kiley A.
I would describe Abigail's professionalism as approachable, warm, nonjudgemental and consistent. She is on top of her work and diligent with following up, but also makes you feel like you are a close friend or family member that she is caring for with her whole heart. Abigail has an amazing awareness of the body and how it works for you as you are creating and birthing life. I wanted to work with her because my greatest concern was how to prepare and care for my body throughout this experience and Abigail was the perfect partner to support me through this journey. If I still lived in NY I would absolutely have her as my doula again for my next births/postpartum experiences. -Talin B.
Christine was a calming voice in the birthing room, and an advocate for me when things got hard. Postpartum she has continued to be a support person as questions have arisen.
