 What Others Are Saying

"I have been meaning to write this review for a while. Edna Sperduto was my Doula and I cannot recommend her enough. As a single mom by choice, Edna was with me every step of the way. She made me feel safe, calm, and secure leading up to, during, and after the birth of my precious daughter. She is so knowledgeable and has the perfect mix of being soft and strong. I feel so blessed to have had her by my side when my daughter was born.

I just wanted to take a moment to share how grateful I am for Edna. As a first-time mom who was honestly pretty scared of anything / everything medical, having her by my side made all the difference. She supported me through every step of pregnancy and birth, and I genuinely cannot imagine the labor experience without her. Her reliability and punctuality were impressive. I’d send a text and she’d answer immediately, making me feel important to her. She was always there when I needed to talk through a decision after my doctor appointments or about anything in general, and that consistency brought me so much peace of mind. Edna didn’t just feel like our birth doula, she felt like family, and I’d recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much for connecting us with someone so special.

Edna was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout our entire birth process and journey. From the start, she made my husband and I feel comfortable and well supported, and helped us tremendously in the preparation for birth. We encountered some unexpected challenges in the pregnancy (bleeding due to a subchorionic hematoma, breech at 37 weeks with recommendation for an ECV, going past my due date and requiring an induction), and she was responsive and a constant support as we navigated each step. We had a wonderful birth with her there! In the postpartum period, we've felt very supported with her visits to help with breastfeeding and adjustments to home as a family. We've so appreciated her flexibility with being there for us with both logistical and emotional support.
