Michelle, Birth & Postpartum Doula
Michelle believes doula’s role is to listen, educate, and soothe. She aims to provide evidenced-based support so expecting parents can to make intuitive and informed decisions around their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Passionate about reproductive and healthcare justice, Michelle’s doula practice is focused on developing self advocacy and safe spaces for your empowered and intentional entry into parenthood.
Michelle practices inclusive, body-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming doula services and is currently working to complete her Birth and Postpartum certifications with CAPPA.
Raised in Western New York, Michelle holds a B.A in Comparative Literature from Hamilton College. Since moving to NYC Michelle has cut her teeth working at high-growth startups where she’s cultivated a reputation as a scrappy, resourceful, and organized team player. She lives in Prospect Park South, Brooklyn with her wife and two dogs.
