Lindsay, MPH, Birth & Postpartum Doula
Lindsay has worked in sexual and reproductive health for a nearly a decade. She is committed to working with families to educate, build confidence and provide continuous physical and emotional support during the entire birth experience.
Lindsay completed her birth doula training at Ancient Song Doula Services and her postpartum doula training with DONA International. She has received special training in lactation support; comforting touch and massage; and multiple childbirth education methods. She is committed to improving education around birth choices and helping clients navigate a complex medical system, while offering non-judgmental support and guidance. Lindsay attends births in hospitals, birth centers and homes throughout NYC and works alongside midwives and OBs to care for families throughout this transformative experience.
Lindsay draws inspiration from her own mama, who after two successful VBACs, became an advocate for greater education around natural childbirth. Lindsay received a BA in cultural anthropology from Georgetown University and a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She lives in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. When not attending births can be found eating tacos and hiking with her brothers.
She is excited and honored to share this journey with you!
