Elisabeth, Birth Doula
Elisabeth is a trained doula from NYC who is thrilled and honored to be supporting all people through their birth experiences. She values building a personal connection with her clients to ensure they feel empowered, cared for, safe and informed as they move through all the new and exciting moments birth can bring.
Elisabeth received her BFA in communication design at Parsons School of Art and Design. After graduating she worked as an assistant art director at Sephora before exploring new paths that better represented her passions. For the last four years she has been painting for MQuan Ceramics studio while also pursuing her personal work as a freelance artist. Last year she began to build a path towards becoming a birth doula. She has worked with families around NYC and has gained so much from supporting them through their journeys. In her time as a doula she has experienced home births, hospital births and cesarean births. She believes it’s every persons right to have the kind of birth that makes them feel most comfortable and will support them through every decision that they make.
In addition to her work as a doula, Elisabeth provides support and love to others by spending time with people in hospice care through the Visiting Nurse Service of NY and by volunteering in the nursery of The Motherhood Center. Elisabeth is certified in child and infant CPR and has also studied to be a holistic health counselor. She loves cooking and is always looking forward to her next backpacking adventure in the mountains.
