Audrey is a Birth and Postpartum Doula. Her goal as a Doula is to facilitate the empowerment of women by supporting them from pregnancy through the newborn period.  She is a DONA trained and Certified Holistic Doula. Additionally Audrey is CPR certified and has studied massage & comforting touch for labor, Spinning Babies, the Bradley Method and more.

Audrey strives to help parents feel respected, informed, confident and joyful as they navigate this tricky time.  Whether it is a hospital, birth center or home birth, she emphasizes compassionate care to help parents achieve the birth they desire.  In the postnatal period, she seeks to build confidence in new parents or growing families with practical tips, tools and resources while smoothing difficult transitions, whether that is a new baby entering the home or a partner returning to work.  Audrey provides non-judgmental support and a helping hand based on the individual needs of each particular client.

She is a native Upper West Sider and received her BA in American History from Barnard College at Columbia University. Audrey lives in Williamsburg with her best friend and many plants, and she is thrilled to serve the women of my home city.

Audrey was an absolute rock for me during my labour and delivery! I can’t imagine getting through the process without her. She was calm, positive, and strong for me throughout, suggesting changes in position and natural techniques to reduce pain and help things progress. She was also hugely helpful to my husband, sharing the load through my long and challenging labour. When things didn’t go to plan she adapted and stayed with us, going above and beyond what we expected - for many hours!

As first time parents it was invaluable for us to be supported by such a safe pair of hands throughout our journey. Thank you from all three of us, Audrey.
